Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Cardio/Pulmonary/Neurology/Sleep Disorders, performs a wide range of transcription duties.
Minimum Qualifications
· Education
o High school graduate or equivalent required.
o Transcription/typing and/or medical terminology coursework required.
· Experience
o Previous healthcare and transcription experience preferred.
· Licensure and/or Certification
o None required.
· Skills
o Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM.
o Data entry skills.
o Ability to proof read reports.
o Fluency in medical terminology.
o Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
o Computer skills required (Microsoft Word)
o Ability to maintain confidential information.
