Outside Sales Account Manager

Sulzer Mixpac is a global producer and industry leader, providing high quality, innovative solutions for accurately mixing and dispensing two-component adhesives, sealants and coatings for the Industrial, Automotive, Aerospace, Solid Surface, Construction and Protective Coatings markets.

We are seeking a team player and professional relationship builder with consultative selling skills to cultivate opportunities and grow business profitably while meeting overall business objectives for the industrial and construction, two-component adhesives packaging market.

Identifies and cultivates new opportunities for business.
Ensures that products consistently meet customer requirements.
Ability to interact with, and grow, relationships with all departments at an account.
Routinely reports on sales activities, creates sales quotations and sample requests for customers.
Regularly reviews account strategies and pricing with sales management.
Schedules and prepares sales visits to customers.
Manages travel budget for assigned territory.
Meet with customers on-site, as required, to review business status, current projects and new opportunities, prepares the proposal to the customer and reviews and negotiates with the customer.
Responds to questions/inquiries from the customer regarding technical issues that arise, and provides related technical support or assistance.


Requirements:

Bachelors Degree preferred
5+ years experience in selling business-to-business
This position will require overnight business travel, including occasional international travel.
Team player with focus on building organizational relationships to achieve corporate goals.
Analytical capability as required to review, assess and interpret customer requirements and develop new opportunities
Communication and interpersonal skills, as required in working effectively with internal and external customers
Proficiency in the use of personal computers
Great Plains knowledge (preferred)
MS Office Products proficiency (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Microsoft CRM
