The Applications Engineer (Technical Mkt) will focus on LED Retrofits for the retail channel.
Key areas of responsibility include providing technical and marketing input for the planning and execution of new business targets and growing distribution of LED Retrofit within the CL-SSL group.
- Provides technical support in presentations and product demonstrations by creating dynamic presentation materials and technical materials to support LEDr and outdoor lighting product line strategies. - Provides technical answers to marketing, sales and customer inquiries. - Maintain and update a LEDr competitive products database and develop a program for use by the sales force - Conduct technical market research on competitive products and strategies being executed at both OEM and Trade channels - Analyze and communicate product and market trends for LED retrofit products. - Participation at customer presentations and preparation of technical documents to support utilities rebates for the LED Retrofit product line. - This position will support the marketing strategy for the retail channels as it relates to LED Retrofit products to maximize profitable growth. - Act as liaison between field sales and Development Engineering on technical issues - Interpret test data and benchmarking results and develop a presentation in support of the Trade sales channel
Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field plus 2 yrs related experience. MUST know the basics of wiring and electrical concepts Superior PowerPoint and Excel skills with pivot table experience a plus Well defined analytical skills SAP Ability to reshuffle priorities and stay on schedule for all requirements Great communication skills
This role will be located in Danvers, MA, and will last at least 6 months. The selected candidate will receive payroll through an agency.
