In this role, you will have the following activities, duties, and functions: * Assist in the design of audit work plans* Be responsible for the execution and timely completion of the compliance audit program (including the analysis of accounting and other financial records)* Provide guidance and assist in the development of staff auditors* Conduct interviews of senior-level representatives of the companies being audited* Respond to inquiries from the client's States* Prepares audit reports for client statesThe successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is preferred* 5+ years of professional experience preferred* Prior auditing and/or accounting experience is necessary* Accounting experience in the Life insurance industry is required* Public accounting / Internal Audit * CPA is a plus
