Job Description: Microsemi-Lawrenceis a leading supplier of discrete semiconductor components with a focus on the production of discrete components for the defense and aerospace markets. Our Lawrence division is looking to fill the following position with a talented, creative and motivated individual. A generous benefits package is offered to all permanent employees. The work schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday, for a total of 40 hours per week (8 Hour work day). Job Function: Responsible for performing all functions necessary for testing of all JANS/JTX product. Will require use of automated equipment as well as hand testing. Essential Duties: 1. Will use computer to set up data files associated with each test procedure. 2. Must have ability to prioritize workload to meet time related deadlines. 3. Keep accurate records for each lot processed. 4. Must follow direction of supervisor and written specifications. 5. Will cross train on other product types in that test area Additional Responsibilities: 1. May be required to perform other departmental tasks related to product processing. Microsemi is an Equal Opportunity Employer Qualifications: Qualifications: 1. Excellent eyesight is required to work with extremely small components. 2. Must have ability to multi-task when testing more than one lot; each with different requirements. 3. Must have good concentration to keep work organized. 4. Must have basic math skills, including decimals. 5. Must be detail oriented to ensure that all product is processed to meet high standards of quality. 6. Must have patience for repetitive work and complete each task through the final stage. 7. Must record all data for each lot processed, in a neat and orderly way. 8. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and communicate in English in order to follow verbal instructions and written specifications. 9. Must work well in a fast paced environment with the ability to stop and start work to accommodate processing of Priority lots. Must have ability to resume work on original assigned work, maintaining all required detail. 10. Must be able to work overtime as required. Additional Notes: Must work well with others and maintain a good attendance record. Preference will be given to candidates with semiconductor (diode/transistor) test experience. This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3).
