SilkRoad is seeking a self-motivatedProduct Trainerin any of the following locations:Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, DenverorAtlantato train new and existing customers to meet the needs of our growing user base. This is a high visibility position with responsibility for instructing both customers and internal team members of varying levels and working as part of a team to design and develop new courses and documentation. Candidates will be expected to: * Conduct formal instructor led classes both onsite and online to a wide variety of audiences for the SilkRoad LifeSuite of products; * Develop and update course material for new and existing company products, solutions, and services in a collaborative team environment using instructional design methodologies; * Develop and instruct customized instructor-led and webinar courses as required for internal, partner and customer audiences; * Developand maintain online learning course library; * Deliver professional customer service to all current and potential clients; and * Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. This position will be filled in the first quarter of 2012. Required Skills
* Facilitation/Presentation skills or related experience such as prior experience delivering and developing IT training; * Teaching-oriented skills with the ambition and drive to help others; * Professional interpersonal customer service skills; * Superior written and verbal communication skills; * Excellent judgment and problem solving skills; * Ability to rapidly acquire a thorough knowledge of Company products; * Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced environment; * Ability to creatively use resources and rapidly adjust to changes; * Work independently with minimal supervision, but also in a team environment; * Strong computer and software skills; proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; * Strong attention to detail; * Ability to travel as required, the ideal candidate must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time; Preferred Skills: * Bilingual in any of the following: French, Spanish, Japanese or Chinese. Required Experience
* Minimum of 2 years experience in corporate adult training, including technical training experience; * Demonstrated professional public speaking and presentation skills; * Bachelor's degree. Preferred Experience: * Minimum of 2 years experience in the Human Resources field; * PHR or SPHR Certification.
