Full-Time Pharmacy Technician PharmacyDistribution Center / Tewksbury, MA
Description:As a pharmacy technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing; and auditing patient records. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
**This is an Evening Shift position working 2:30pm-11pm and some weekends**
Qualifications: - Certified pharmacy technician with MA license and registration - Previous pharmacy technician experience in a hospital - Effective verbal and written communication skills
Facility:The Pharmacy Distribution Center is located in the State Office of Pharmacy Services building. It serves approximately 44 sites with 22,000 beds and is managed by CPS.
