Description: Supervises and coordinates the collection of blood and other specimens for laboratory analyses. Develops and implements polices and procedures in the phlebotomy area of the clinical laboratories to ensure the delivery of quality laboratory services. Directs and supervises personnel, evaluates work performance, and initiates personnel actions, provides counseling and guidance, provides in-services and encourages professional growth and development of phlebotomy personnel.
Day shift, but flexibility required to cover off-shifts periodically. Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. 3 years Phlebotomy experience. Registered Lab Technician or equivalent experience. 5+ years experience in laboratory setting with supervisory responsibility preferably in a hospital setting.
