Job Description

This position would be responsible to provide primary care services to patients. Assess patient health and order appropriate lab and diagnostic procedures. Interpret and integrate data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan. Instruct patient regarding medications and treatments. Collaborate with physicians, in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients. Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits. Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation.

Qualifications

Current MA license as a Nurse Practitioner. Must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in family practice or internal medicine. Must have proven skills and knowledge base necessary for independent clinical decision making. Must have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Bi-lingual preferred but not required.
