Job Title Medical Technologist - ASCP Requisition Number 11-2122 Organization BID Hospital - Needham Division - Department 08570070 - Lab General-Needham Job Category BID Needham-GLO City Needham State MA Grade 07 Status Per Diem Shift Rotate/No std schedule Position Details per diem position for an experienced medical technologist. Successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to work independently. A thorough knowledge of the General Lab, including Blood Bank is required. Job Description Performs all Clinical Laboratory testing in order to provide information for diagnosing and treating infectious diseases. Qualifications Experience in Blood Bank, Chemistry and Hematology required as well as excellent Phlebotomy skills. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in busy laboratory. Requires excellent customer service skills, ASCP certification or eligibility. Meditech experience desired.
