Lead the development and implementation of effective marketing plans for wholesale customers and consumers that support brand and category level initiatives and platforms; build overall equity in the marketplace; and help generate profitable account growth. Account marketing plans to support our men's, women's, and kids' footwear business.
Areas of responsibility include:
In-Store Visual Presentation (Windows, point of sale materials, fixturing);
Advertising (Out of Home, Radio, ROP, Direct Mail, Catalogs);
Promotions and Events (account level, trade and consumer facing);
Sales Associate Programs/Product Seeding.
Lead the development of account-level programs and creative for the areas listed above.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Write briefs and provide strategic direction to internal creative development team to ensure achievement of seasonal goals and consistency with our brand positioning and creative platforms. 10%
Develop, execute and manage events supporting channel growth. 25%
Manage and track customer spending to assigned budget and measure ROI of investment. Regularly analyze program performance and conduct payout analyses of all major initiatives to increase spending efficiencies, program efficiency and improved ROI. 15%
Initiate, maintain and nurture account marketing relationships. Work closely with marketing and visual managers from key retailers to ensure consistency of our presentation and communication in the marketplace.
Support channel go-sell preparation and lead strategic projects as necessary. 25%
Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure the achievement of business goals, retailer priorities, and our initiatives. 25%
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree required; MBA desirable.
Industry/Functional Experience:Five to seven years of Field (Client Side) or Brand Marketing experience, preferably in the footwear and/or apparel industry.
IT Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Other: Excellent written and oral communication; strong ability to present and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically, demonstrate financial acumen, and execute multiple projects while maintaining an attention to detail. Strong organizational and project management skills. Team oriented with a proven ability to work cross functionally with finance, planning, credit and other teams to achieve goals. Well versed on footwear and apparel industry competitors and accounts.
