Global Direct Marketing Company seeks an experienced Senior level IT Executive to provide strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of information and technology systems.
Successful candidate must have proven expertise in executive management of IT personnel and demonstrated experience in aligning information technology to achieve business goals and objectives. Candidate must have a solid understanding of business needs analysis and change management and the principals of database marketing. Must have experience identifying and evaluating current and future technology trends, infrastructure and architecture, security principals, software application development and support.
Candidate must also possess strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and the ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative, geographically dispersed team environment. Experience at the executive level in directing and managing information technology as a service is essential.
Position Responsibilities:
Establishes current and long-range technology strategy for key products and solutions for efficient and effective solutions delivery.
Provides technical solutions expertise, and industry knowledge base to support sales and marketing efforts including pre-sales support, job costing and management of customer engagements.
Oversees management of software development teams responsible for new system development. Ensuring for each customer engagement; delivery is on time, on budget and on schedule.
Communicates at a senior level of the organization Coordinates the design, development, marketing and maintenance of technology projects.
Investigates new technologies and performs competitive analyses.
Implement and monitor metrics to effectively manage and oversee new software development implementations from discovery through deployment.
Advocate, educate and enforce all internal and external security and privacy policies.
Provide day-to-day leadership and management to achieve company goals through technology solutions (i.e. translate the business goals into technology deployment plans). Alignment with business needs is essential.
Leading multiple technical operational teams.
Plan and control technology staffing, to ensure it is consistent with both short term and long term business plans and objectives
Support the governance of major processes within the organization by leading and participating in various initiatives and teams.
Ensures coordination throughout the company.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications
BS/BA in business administration, information technology or other related major or equivalent education and experience is required.
Minimum of 5 years of Senior Leadership experience (P&L, Budget, Interaction with Executive leadership, etc.)
Minimum of 10 years of General Management experience (managing multiple high-performance teams, software development teams and customer service)
Minimum of 10 years experience developing strategic and operational plans and developing capital and operating budgets is required
Minimum of 10 years experience with upper level Customer Interaction
Additional Qualifications:
MBA or equivalent preferred
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple and conflicting priorities professionally
Ability to create business case for change using data and business case driven arguments - Influential
Demonstrated ability to lead teams of experienced professionals
Demonstrated ability to create compelling case for change with internal customers using business case driven justification as well as marketing of success stories and softer benefits
Excellent organizational and communications skills (written/oral/formal presentation)
Strong leadership skills
