Job Description Summary: This is a Split Shift Position (hours 1 pm - 9:30 pm) Train on 1st

? Perform incoming, in-process, and final
inspections of turbine engine components using
visual, mechanical, and various specialized
inspection techniques, as applicable.
? Coordinate activities of inspection area to
meet the needs of production.
? Generate, approve & issue production C-of-C's,
8130's and other applicable certifications, as
applicable.
? Maintain production records to the
requirements of QCI 6.1.1 (Control of Quality
Records).
? Other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications: ? Minimum criteria per QCI 2.3.5 sub-5 (internal
candidates)
? Significant inspection experience as judged by
Chief Inspector and Quality Manager (externa
candidates)
? Able to work independently with minimal
supervision
? Able to read, interpret & comprehend:
specifications, process cards, operation
sheets, standard practices and relevant
industry standards.
? Ability to use and maintain various standard
inspection equipment (SIE) as applicable to
work area
? Computer literate
? Ability to maneuver and lift approximately 50
lbs
? Ability to read, write and understand English
? Near visual acuity shall be such that the
applicant can read, at least one eye, Ortho-
Rater 8 for Jaeger Type 2 at a distance of
12", either corrected or uncorrected
? Color Perception - Personnel shall be capable
of adequately distinguishing and
differentiating colors used in the process
involved
? Compliance to specified JHA procedures
? Comply with all applicable QCI's for the
function
