Our Company's Golf Brand Ambassador (TMBA) is responsible for creating a in-store brand experience to help achieve sales goals through excellence in sales, provide enhanced customer service through superior customer engagement and provide product management through directed merchandising presentation execution.
The area's that the TMBA is expected to provide customer service and merchandising support to our company's product throughout the store are:
Equipment and Ball Footwear and Apparel
Reporting to the Golf Strategic Account Sales and Marketing Team.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting customers on the sales floor during peak traffic hours. This to include Club Fitting using all tools available to provide customers with outstanding customer service. Maintain a high level of product knowledge in order to assist customers by being able to recommend the right company product that meets their needs, from multiple areas within the store. Provide service to customers regarding our company's product in all areas of responsibility.
Merchandising and Product Management Responsibilities:
Daily assurance that product is on the sales floor at proper inventory levels, with merchandising standards maintained. Execute our company's merchandising direction; adjusting to best fit individual store layout and needs. Partner with store management to ensure product is processed and on the sales floor in a timely manner. Partner with store management to ensure signage and seasonal initiatives are implemented by assigned completion date. Notify the Signage Coordinator of missing elements. TMBA will be the primary store lead in executing any company Marketing promotions or events in their stores.
Learning & Communication Responsibilities:
Participate in our company's product and merchandising training opportunities as available. Provide regular communication to management to relate "success stories" regarding outstanding customer engagement. Coordinate distribution of any seasonal product information and tools; ensure Associates have product, technology and brand initiative information.
Experience and Skills Required:
Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic; high comfort level engaging with customers. A strong and sincere passion for our company's brands and products. Must have golf industry, retail and/or education (i.e. PGM Program, Golf Academy) experience. Must have experience with golf fitting Must have golf playing ability; 10 or better golf handicap is required. Strong level of verbal and written communication skills. Use of professional language and good judgment when interacting with customers regarding comparison of various product brands. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and handle competing priorities each day Prior success in establishing goals and achieving results Enjoys working in a team environment Basic computer skills
Must be able to work the following days and hours:
Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday Hours: Thursday/Friday 3:00 - 9:00 PM, Saturday/Sunday 11:00 - 5:00 PM Not to exceed 25 hours, Shift hours may vary
