Environmental Consultant and Project Manager Job Summary Serves as an Environmental Consultant and a Project Manager in the firm’s Environmental, Health and Safety Group. The successful candidate should have the following experience: * developing, writing, and implementing environmental programs and procedures. * knowledge of Federal and state environmental regulations. * conducting field sampling, monitoring and auditing activities. * technical report and related document preparation. * training program development and implementation. * environmental, health and safety management systems design and implementation. * air and water-related permitting. * regulatory agency-recordkeeping and reporting. * hazardous materials management consulting. * project management. * The successful candidate will also serve as a Project Manager and must also be adaptable to varying work environments; possess a strong pro-active work ethic; adapt to new responsibilities; work well in a team environment; and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior consulting experience is required. Healthcare or biotechnology experience as well as radiation and biosafety experience is a plus. This is a growth oriented position. Skills Required * U.S. Citizen or permanent work status. * BS or MS degree in science or engineering. * Experience in consulting required. * Certification as a Certified Hazardous Materials Manger (CHMM) or Certified Environmental Trainer (CET) highly desirable. * Certification as a certified Healthcare Environmental Manager (HEM) or Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) a plus. * Strong communication, interpersoanl and project management skills * Veterans are highly encouraged to apply.
