Development Tester 3
Title: Development Tester 3 Location: US-MA-Middleton Other Locations:Provide testing support for development activities related to SAS' Retail applications. Design and develop test cases, plan and manage tests, and execute manual and automated tests. Participate in the evaluation of functional and design specifications, user documentation, and evaluation of test coverage. Provide feedback to development staff on product features, including user interface specifications, product integration, ETL validation, and performance. Exercise independent judgment as to methods, techniques and evaluation criteria. Plan and document testing tasks. Coordinate testing procedures and schedules with other testing departments. Assist development staff with documentation examples. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field of study plus four years experience in the position offered or as a Programmer Analyst, QA Analyst/Engineer, Test/CAD Engineer, or Development Tester. An Associate's degree plus 6 years of experience or no degree plus 8 years of experience may also be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years experience. Must have demonstrated experience with Java or Web Services; experience with XML or XSLT; experience programming in SAS and or Java, C ; experience with scripting languages such as Perl; experience with standard testing tools for coverage analysis and automation; familiarity with WebLogic or WebSphere application servers; knowledge of automation and/or performance test tools.
