Job Description:



Responsibilities: Provides day-to-day level 1 technical support to employees for internal systems software and hardware with a focus on desktop and laptop computers. Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a heterogeneous environment. Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. Communicates highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel. Recommends hardware and software solutions. May participate in IT infrastructure projects. Monitor and manage PBXs at HQ and remote sites, including move, add, change tasks. .Manage voicemail systems at HQ and remote sites .Provision and deploy cell phones and PDAs .Manage voice calling including LD, local and Int'l calling. Acquire, provision and support smartphone and tablet devices. Must be able to work to 5:30PM and have the flexibility to provide coverage for the help desk as required.
Qualifications: .Customer service orientation .Problem analysis .Problem-solving .Oral and written communication skills
.Hands on technical knowledge of relevant data and voice technologies .Planning and organizing .1-3 yrs. progressive IT end user systems administration & support experience (Desktop PC's, Laptops, voice systems and peripherals) including performing troubleshooting on key end user systems. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred. MS certification (MCSE) a plus. Telecom and voice system experience useful.
This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration regulations (EAR).
