Community Engagement Intern (Sports Marketing/Events/Promotions)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Offer general administrative support (mail sorting, product shipping, supply purchasing and organizing, etc.)
Assist with retail donation process documentation
Plan a calendar of service opportunities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our Path of ServiceTM employee volunteer program
Assist in due diligence for new grantees receiving product or cash donations
Create and track communication in the grants process
Research local volunteer opportunities to promote internally on the web and in departmental publications
Provide logistical support for our company-wide service events (Earth Day and Serv-a-palooza)
Track event budgets
Assist in collection and reporting of after-action service data
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a relevant field of study. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, with a strong knowledge of Excel. Strong verbal, written and organizational communication skills, with an attention to detail are also required. An interest in community engagement is a plus.
