Description: Job Description
This is an evening position with occasional weekend rotation and on call.
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Central Service, cleans, disinfects, and assembles patient care equipment, supplies and instruments according to established policies and procedures. Fills case cart requisitions for the instruments, I.V. pumps and treatment carts using detergents and disinfecting solutions. Disinfects, re-assembles and sterilizes surgical instruments and treatment trays by using steam or gas sterilizers.
Requirements:
Familiarity with surgical instrumentation, surgical kit assembly and different decontamination, and sterilization equipment and techniques. Ability to read requisitions and surgical kit assembly requests
1+ years experience as a Central Service Technician
High school graduate or Equivalent required
Preferred:
