Formerly the Charles Street Jail, the Liberty underwent a $150 million dollar construction and restoration and opened in September 2007. The National Historic Landmark maintains vestiges of original cells and catwalks ring the lobby. The Liberty has four venues for drinking and dining including Clink, Scampo, Alibi and the Liberty Bar. With 300 guestrooms, 6,000 square feet of meeting space the Liberty Hotel is ideal for both business and leisure travelers.
Description Job Description Cocktail Server will serve guests in a hospitable manner to ensure a positive guest experience by: â?¢Hospitably greet, prepare and serve drinks to guests according to HEI Hotels and Resorts beverage service standards. â?¢Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages. â?¢Prepare station for readiness prior to opening and closing of each shift. â?¢Follow all cash handling and bank operating procedures as outlined by HEI Hotels and Resorts. â?¢Perform all side work duties according to side work schedules. â?¢Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. â?¢Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge â?¢Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons. â?¢Ability to use point of service computer. â?¢Full knowledge of state liquor laws. â?¢Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift. â?¢Must have the ability to communicate in English. â?¢Hotel experience preferred.
