Scope of Position: Responsible forglobal commercial & business operations associated with marketing, product line development, strategic planning and commercial activities, interacting with finance, supply chain, CLS manufacturing and AMG (Alternative Manufacturing Group) * Lead projects and strategic relationships through AMG and manufacturing locations supporting the glass business. Day to Day Responsibilities: * Meet or exceed sales, profitability and growth objectives for assigned products, markets &/or manufacturing locations * Share operational objectives with plant manager(s), and other functional areas as appropriate * Co-development (with Business Manager) and execution of comprehensive business strategies * Support capacity decision making * Manage the forecasting/planning process in support of manufacturing and supply chain planning * Coordinate all necessary initiatives with Supply Chain; Procurement;Manufacturing, Futures, and Development * Act as commercial champion for quality improvement projects * Act as the commercial liaison for new product receivership * Identify and implement improved Commercial/Manufacturing processes, as well as other commercially oriented objectives in support of CLS business globally * Act as team member and work with Strategic Marketing Manager on business intelligence * Work with Global Pricing Manager, Regional Sales Managers, Channel Management, Product Line Mangers and Commercial management to develop and manage the implementation of the global pricing strategy and provide input to channel plans. * Develop and implement market research projects to support the business * Participate with sales and commercial excellence leadership to define and execute the training requirements for the sales forces * Manage key Customer & supplier relationships and contracts * Manage department S & A within budget Travel Requirements(please note if international):
