Night Manager

We currently have an immediate opening for a Third Shift Night Manager. Under the direction of the plant manager, this person will direct and coordinate activities of production, warehouse, and maintenance on the third shift operations.



Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes, but is not limited to the following:

1. Responsible for overall production operation during shift including hiring and performance management.
2. Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products during shift.
3. Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
4. Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
5. Interacts and communicates with other departments in order to determine production goals.
6. Responsible for special assignment or projects such as the baked tofu project start up.
7. Maintains and cleans FDA ready food plant.
8. Maintain and improve sanitation departments efficiency by developing team and department schedules and work practices
9. Maintain and improve the production start-up efficiency by coordinating transition training (sanitation to start up)
10. Develop and implement SOPs for all job tasks
11. Monitor all plant activity during shift by managing support functions; warehouse and maintenance
12. Maintain continuous improvement in line efficiency by developing SOPs and coaching.
13. Maintain a safe work environment by developing and implementing chemical training and safety practices
14. Administers Performance Reviews
15. Participates and supports the operations HACCP & GMP Programs
16. Maintains all food safety guidelines in the absence of the Plant Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. BS/BA or equivalent experience
2. Production planning background.
3. 1-3 years Production and or Sanitation experience
4. Minimum 3 years supervisory experience and preferably some management training

This is a hand on manager position. Individual considered must be flexible with their start and stop times. Weekend availability required.
